Your first five minutes.

  1. Unzip and run. Extract the ZIP to a folder of your choice — Desktop, Documents, or anywhere convenient. Then double-click Tradosaurus.exe. The app opens immediately. Tradosaurus is a portable application: there's no installer, no Program Files entry, no admin permissions needed. Want a Start Menu shortcut? Right-click Tradosaurus.exe → "Send to" → "Desktop (create shortcut)".
  2. Pick your universe. Open the Universe tab, choose Nifty 50 (or 500 for full breadth), click "Fetch Data". First fetch takes ~7 minutes; after that, data is cached locally.
  3. Run today's screener. Open the Screener tab. Pick a strategy (start with TPB or DBO). Click "Scan". You'll see today's signals, ranked by setup quality, with entry / stop / target for each.
  4. Backtest the strategy. Open the Backtest tab. Set your starting capital and risk:reward. Click "Run Backtest". Get every trade across nine years of NSE data.
  5. Read the System Summary. Open the System Summary tab. See the only numbers that matter: Final Equity, CAGR, Max Drawdown, year-by-year P&L.
